1. 0 Name
The name of the Society shall be Aluminium Association of India (hereinafter called 'Association'). It shall be a national organisation. |

2.0
Objectives of the Association. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
2.1
To promote utilization and growth of aluminium. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
2.2
To Create Aluminium Development Centre for carrying out Research and Development work concerning aluminium and related industries, especially in areas of alloy and product development, energy utilization, new uses of aluminium, joining and surface finishing, scarp recycling and other aspects and to reinforce already existing Research and Development activities. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
2.3
To extend applications of aluminium and its alloys in electrical power generation and transmission, aerospace, transport, architecture, engineering, structural, building construction, communication, canning and packaging and domestic and other industrial usages. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
2.4
To establish Aluminium Advisory Bureaux in different parts of the country for aluminium information and technical service to consumers. |
|

|
|
| |
2.5
To create a common forum of the aluminium sindustry and its constituents for deciding upon common policies and advocating them with the Government and national organisations. |

|
| |
2.6
To cooperate with Central and State Government in execution of national and regional plans and programmes and with national and international organisations for all actions in furtherance of aluminium. |
|
| |

| |
2.7
To collect, collate, disseminate and publish data on statistical, marketing, economic and industrial status and emerging trends in national and international spheres regarding aluminium and related subjects. |
|

| |
2.8
To organise 1ectures, discussions, seminars colloquia, training courses, workshops, exhibitions of national and international participation concerning a aluminium and related topics so as to promote interest in and to increase the usefulness of aluminium. |

2.9
To maintain libraries, set up museums and show-rooms, compile, publish periodicals, catalogues, bulletins, books, diffuse information relating to or of direct or indirect, immediate or future interest to the development of science and technology of aluminium and related fields. |

2.10
To carry out similar and all other activities for promotion of aluminium in a planned way. |

| |
Incidental or ancillary actions for promoting the main objectives aforesaid : |

2.11
To construct, purchase, take on lease, receive, hire or otherwise acquire any movable or immovable property and acquire any rights and privileges necessary or convenient for the purpose of the Association on such terms and conditions as may be though necessary. |

2.12
To sell, improve, manage, develop, lease, mortgage, dispose of or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property of the Association. |
|

2.13
To invest moneys of the Association in such manner as the Association may decide. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
2.14
To enter into any alliance with or to communicate or subscribe to or become a member of or promote or assist in the promotion of or otherwise cooperate with any other association or company, whether incorporated or not, having objects altogether or in a part similar to those of the Association or those calculated to benefit generally the Association. |

2.15
To borrow or raise money for fulfillment of its objectives, to manage its finance, to accept any bequest, gift, donation or subscription for promotion of the objectives of the Association or to accumulate and provide a fund of an endowment and to invest the same and utilize the income arising there from for any of the objectives of the Association. |

2.16
To perform all such other things as may appear to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives. |
