India has been facing very anomalous situation wherein the investment on generation of power and execution of power plants has resulted in substantial growth in power generation. But attention towards evacuation of power through transmission and distribution system is too in adequate.
Aluminium finds itself in the prime position in transmission and distribution and therefore deserves special attention in terms of incentives and benefits.
As a number of projects are supported by World bank and other foreign agencies deemed export in this sector will be a boom to cable and conductor industry although deemed export is extremely beneficial in other sectors too particularly where the products are being exported. |
